- How do I ensure that orders and customers are genuine?
Once a customer places an order, you can view its complete details in the Administrator Section/Admin Panel of eZee Foodie. As hotel manager / administrator, you can immediately use the contact details provided with the order to call up any customer whose order does not seem genuine. If any order is not genuine, you can simply cancel it from the Admin Panel.
- Does eZee Foodie support modifiers for food products?
Yes, eZee Foodie fully supports modifiers for food products. You can create modifier groups, modifier items, and also assign modifiers to menu items (menu items are those listed in the restaurant menu for direct sale to customers).
- What is the customer’s delivery address is outside my delivery coverage area?
Customers are required to provide detailed delivery address including postcode and post area. You have the option to enter postcode / post areas from the Admin Panel of eZee Foodie and only these postcodes / post areas will be marked as delivery areas. Based on these postcodes / post areas entered, customers will be prompted that their address is outside the delivery area if they enter a postcode that does not exist in the system. They then have the option to select the nearest postcode / post area available for their delivery address. For cases where customers have provided the wrong postcode or delivery address, the hotel manager / administrator can personally contact the customer for address and delivery area reconfirmation.
- Can eZee Foodie be integrated into my restaurant website?
Yes, eZee Foodie can easily be integrated with an existing website. While the ordering pages for your restaurant will be hosted on a generic server, the overall look and feel of these pages will match the rest of your website. So customers will not be able to distinguish between the two. The entire setup process is really simple whether you are integrating eZee Foodie into your existing website or implementing the software as a complete solution with a new website.
- Does eZee Foodie support my local, regional or country language?
Yes, eZee Foodie supports many languages. You can select the number of languages to be included in the solution at the time of purchasing eZee Foodie license. You can also integrate any number of languages at a later stage if you did not include those at the time of original license purchase.
- Can I accept credit cards / PayPal or my preferred payment gateway through eZee Foodie?
eZee Foodie works with all major payment gateways; if you have the integration details from your preferred payment gateway, we can get it integrated with your eZee Foodie portal. For credit card payments, eZee Foodie will only capture card data; the actual processing will have to be carried out manually by the restaurant manager / administrator.
- Can I use my own server with eZee Foodie?
You can use your own server and a personal domain only if you have purchased a license for the portal version or white label of eZee Foodie. For all other licenses, you get a web-based version of eZee Foodie that is hosted on a generic server, where each restaurant is maintained in separate storage areas to rule out competitor cross-listing.
- What about the safety of my data and order information?
We have designed eZee Foodie as a highly secure system because we understand the importance of safety of your data and other information. Data security in eZee Foodie is a three tier process:
1. All order confirmation pages where customers fill in their data are encrypted using industry-standard 128 bit SSL encryption to ensure highest possible security.
2. If you have opted for Credit Card data capture mode in eZee Foodie, the system automatically purges all credit card data from its database every 15 days.
3. The Admin Panel provides a database backup facility, which the restaurant administrator can activate at the simple click of a mouse button. All relevant data is then automatically backed up.
- What if there is delay in order receipt by kitchen from eZee Foodie?
eZee Foodie is hosted on a server having downtime of less than 0.5%. So chances of late orders due to server downtime are next to nil. Soon as a customer places an order, its details are emailed to the restaurant’s kitchen and printed automatically. A backup is also stored in the database for future reference and a reminder about the order displayed prominently in the Administrator Section. In case email delivery to the kitchen is somehow delayed, the order can immediately be viewed and processed from the administrator section.
- Does this solution support multiple restaurants? If yes, then how?
eZee Foodie definitely supports multiple restaurants. This feature can be accessed through the Centralized Food Ordering System (CRS) that links multiple restaurants to a common Central Control Panel and allows a single administrator to supervise and control multiple restaurants simultaneously and individually.

Can I have gift coupons / discounts offered at specific time and date?
You can offer gift coupons and discounts via eZee Foodie at the time and date you choose. You can create these in advance for a specific date and time range. Once in place, these discounts and coupons will be available for a period of 24 hours from the moment they are applied.
- Do you have long term contract options instead of monthly payments?
For restaurants that prefer long term contracts instead of monthly fees, eZee Foodie is also available on annual contract basis. Please mention your preference at the time of requesting a quote and we will provide you one accordingly.
- Is it possible to use eZee Foodie as a portal to connect different restaurants or the same or different owners?

You can use eZee Foodie as a Central Portal to register and connect multiple restaurants of the same or different owners. You can even connect restaurants for different locations using the Centralized Food Ordering System (CRS).
- Can eZee Foodie be integrated with any restaurant POS system or delivery or CRM module?
eZee Foodie has been designed to be fully compatible with eZee BurrP!, the restaurant and bar POS system (www.eZeeBurrP.com) from eZee Technosys. But it can also easily be integrated with other generic restaurant POS systems. We can help with the integration based on specific client requests.Integration with Delivery and CRM modules is not possible at the moment, but our developers are already working to include this feature in upcoming versions of eZee Foodie.
- Is it possible to track orders end-to-end?
Tracing and tracking order from the time it is placed to the time it is delivered is an integral part of eZee Foodie. Soon as an order is placed, its details are stored in the database with the order time. These details can be viewed from the restaurant administrator section. Whenever there is any status update marked on a particular order, the details are once again saved with an update time; same applies to the deliver update. All of these time stamps and updates can be viewed from the administrator section with ease.
- What support do you provide when I need any help with this software?

- What if I lose all my data? Is there any backup system?
We regularly backup the server where your version of eZee Foodie is hosted; so all your data is safe with us. - Can there by multiple administrators with simultaneous login facility?
Yes, you can create multiple sub-administrators with specific privileges through the restaurant administrator section. Depending on the privileges and tasks assigned, any or all of these sub-administrators can log into the system individually or simultaneously to perform their individual tasks.
- Are there any special system requirements for installing eZee Foodie?
The best part about eZee Foodie is that you do not require any sophisticated hardware or software changes or upgrades to install this solution. eZee Foodie is an independent web-based application that just requires a good internet connection and a web browser such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.
- Are there any extra charges for upcoming features and upgrades?
This depends on the feature; most basic updates are covered under the annual charges. However, advanced features such as integration with third-party POS systems, CRM and Delivery modules etc. will carry a nominal charge.
